We have been trading since July 1, 2003.

New Farm has long been a favoured locale of some of the more interesting characters in town, but unfortunately like most major cities, progress has had its evil way and scrubbed most of the area clean.

Once reviewed as " The Black Sheep of New Farm", we like to think of ourselves as a cultural splinter in the tail end of Brisbane.

If you are looking for fine dining and fine art.. most likely you won't get what the Alibi has on offer.

If on the other hand, you are looking for a place with great food, an astonishing variety of alcohol (we normally stock somewhere around 50 beers and 75 spirits from around the world) and a sense of perhaps being somewhere a little more special, then Alibi is for you.

The Alibi Room is two levels (ground level has the front bar, back dining area and downstairs is our Tiki Lounge)

We have wheelchair access to our top level, and can organise access to our downstairs level as well.

Our food menu runs all day which means you can order pancakes for dinner. (That's a good thing, trust us!)

We cater for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans as well. We have plenty of non alcoholic drinks and awesome coffee.

You can be under 18 and in our venue but our House Policy states that we don't allow under 18's after 8.00pm.
